Our story
Creative Clubhouse started with a simple observation: the South Shore needed a place where people of all ages could learn about AI and creative technology — without driving to Boston, without expensive bootcamps, and without feeling intimidated.
Founded by Chris Scanlon, a Cohasset resident with a background in product design, Creative Clubhouse is built on the belief that technology should be accessible, practical, and — yes — fun. We're not interested in hype or complexity for its own sake. We care about helping real people use these tools in real life.
Whether you're a kid who wants to create games with AI, an adult curious about ChatGPT, a grandparent who wants to understand what the fuss is about, or a business owner looking to work smarter — you belong here.

Founder
Meet Chris
Chris Scanlon is a product designer and technologist who's spent years helping people understand and use new technology. Before starting Creative Clubhouse, he worked in product design at companies where he saw firsthand how powerful technology could be when it was made accessible.
A Cohasset resident and South Shore native, Chris started Creative Clubhouse because he wanted to bring that same accessible approach to his own community. He believes the best learning happens in small groups, with patient instruction, and plenty of hands-on practice.
When he's not teaching, you'll find him exploring AI tools, tinkering with design projects, or enjoying the South Shore with his family.
Where we are
Creative Clubhouse is based in Cohasset, with classes held throughout the South Shore including Hingham, Norwell, Scituate, Duxbury, and partner locations at local libraries and rec departments.
Specific class locations are shared upon registration.
